CoLang Web Committee Intern Summer 2026
About CoLang
The Institute on Collaborative Language Research, also known as CoLang, is a biennial gathering where people from various backgrounds can learn about language documentation, descriptive linguistics, and language revitalization from each other. The Institute emphasizes community-based approaches to language revitalization and collaboration at all stages of this work—from designing documentation or teaching projects to activism or archiving materials for future use. CoLang aims to blur the lines between community and academia, learners and facilitators, and among areas of specialty. CoLang welcomes all people interested in community-based, collaborative language work.
About CoLang Web Committee
The CoLang Web Committee was established in 2020 to develop, manage, and maintain the permanent digital presence of the CoLang Institute. The Committee is responsible for the public-facing website www.colanginstitute.org, and the internal collection and organization of planning materials in the CoLang Repository. The Committee is responsible to the CoLang Advisory Council via the Colang Advisory Council’s Web Representative, and also works closely with Local Organizing Committees to support efforts such as digital archiving and communications.
Summer 2026 CoLang Web Committee Intern
